Terms of Service

1. What this is

The SimpleAF Assistant is a personal AI assistant, operated by SimpleAF LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("SimpleAF"), that helps find, compare, and contact local service professionals. It's a personal, limited-use tool, not a commercial service open to the public. By using it, you agree to these terms.

SimpleAF is not a marketplace, contractor, staffing agency, or broker. It doesn't perform any services itself, employ or endorse any provider, or take part in any agreement you make with one.

2. Your responsibilities

• Give accurate information about the job you need done.
• Review each message before approving it. Nothing is sent to a provider without your approval, and you're responsible for what you approve.
• You're responsible for who you hire. Before any work starts, check the provider's licensing, insurance, references, pricing, and contract terms yourself.
• Use the assistant lawfully, and don't use it to spam, harass, or mislead anyone.

3. Third-party platforms

The assistant can connect to third-party services such as Thumbtack. When it does, that platform's own terms of service and privacy policy apply, along with any terms set by the individual providers you deal with. SimpleAF is an independent developer and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of those platforms or providers.

4. No warranties

The assistant is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or availability. Its research and drafts are AI-generated and can be incomplete or wrong, so verify anything important before you rely on it. Providers' quality, pricing, availability, and conduct aren't guaranteed.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, SimpleAF isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the assistant. That includes anything a service provider does or fails to do, and any dispute between you and a provider. SimpleAF's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to use the assistant, which is zero.

6. Changes and ending access

The assistant may be changed, paused, or discontinued at any time, and access may be ended for anyone who misuses it. If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.

7. Privacy

How information is handled is covered by the Privacy Policy.
